In addition to safety shoes with the four width system, Bata Industrials now also offers a total ‘no-worries’ concept called Bata-adapt. This is a real relief for anyone whose foot problems form a hindrance to their health, comfort and safety on the work floor.

At least 10% of all safety shoe wearers suffer from foot problems. These problems may range from discomfort to actual medical symptoms. The result of this is demotivation, inefficiency and absence due to illness for employers and employees alike. Bata-adapt solves these problems by offering several different solutions.

On your way to optimum walking comfort
Bata Industrials offers various safety shoes from The Natural (available in several widths), BS2000 and Traxx collections, with either a wide or narrow fit. A matching sock increases the comfort, safety and life of the shoe.
Should the wearer still suffer from discomfort, he or she may choose from four high-quality inlay soles. These inlay soles provide an even better fit, and are equipped with smart support zones for optimum wearing comfort and stability.

When medical problems are an issue, the standard series may not be enough. Common problems include heel spurs, painful pressure points or a sagged foot. A custom-made (semi-) orthopaedic inlay sole can help solve these problems. Our professional employees can provide you with the right advice and/or the solution.
Bata can also supply an orthopaedic shoe which satisfies all of the currently valid EN ISO 20345 safety norms. A certified orthopaedist can custom make these using a special kit.
