During the Arbeitsschutz Aktuell 2010, held from the 19th to the 21th of October in the Leipzig Exhibition Centre, Germany, Bata Industrials’ stand was dominated by the new Energy Footwear. Held every two years, this event targeting the industry for safety and health at work drew some 11,000 visitors.

Bata looks back on its participation in the German trade exhibition with a satisfied feeling. The branch-oriented product presentation was particularly well-received by the visitors, including several key accounts. Also many attention went to the safety shoes with new sole technology, which doubles the energy absorption rate in the seat region of the shoe. The new full grain Traxx models with the Boa lacing system and the tough Bickz collection also elicited approving looks from the visitors.

Walkline
Many positive and enthusiastic reactions followed on the first concept safety shoes with the Walkline technology. The Walkline ensures the ideal functioning of the foot, resulting in an optimum distribution of pressure. Wearers are less prone to become tired, thus remaining fit and energetic longer. The concept is now being further developed and tested.
