News > Ready for action with the M900 combat boot

For people who have to be available for emergency situations, day and night, the right equipment is crucial. Footwear with the necessary protection and comfort is a must in these situations, just like the rest of the uniform. Bata Industrials offers the solution: the M900 combat boot. The ideal solution for the police, military personnel and also the Utrechtse Weerbaarheid (defensive unit).

The Utrechtse Weerbaarheid* forms a link between the civilian and military worlds. This unit’s most important activity is maintaining good, intensive contact with various military and civilian authorities in Utrecht (NL) and the surrounding areas. Examples of this group’s activities include providing platoons, such as for Prinsjesdag (day of the Queen’s annual speech) at the Binnenhof in The Hague, they play the role of either citizens or the training enemy during Ministry of Defence exercises on military land, and offer assistance during Dutch army target practice.

Protection and comfort
Thanks to the M900, the Weerbaarheid has found the perfect balance between protection and wearing comfort. The M900 has a TriTech Plus outsole made from rubber, excellent antislip properties and good oil, acid and heat-resistance.
Unexpected movements are compensated by the shock-absorbing Tunnelsystem. The boot is also extremely comfortable thanks to the use of lightweight materials, a leather lining and proper fit. In fact, these boots are so comfortable that the members of the Weerbaarheid even wore them during the Nijmegen Annual Four-Day Walking Event.
